Blueberry Smoothie

Need a quick start to your morning? Yvette's Blueberry Banana Smoothie takes less than 10 minutes, is chock full of great nutrients, and tastes great too. Yvette’s PRO-TIP – if you want a thicker smoothie add more frozen blueberries. Yvette is one of our Home Delivery participants. As a vegetarian, she enjoys getting creative in the kitchen with the fresh ingredients that come in her monthly delivery.

Ingredients
2 C almond milk (you can substitute any milk you have on hand)
1/4 C frozen blueberries
1 ripe banana
Instructions

1.    Toss all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth. For a thicker smoothie, add additional blueberries until the smoothie reaches your desired consistency.

This vegan smoothie is loaded with B vitamins, Calcium, Potassium, and Vitamin D! Be sure to find a fortified almond milk that is low in sugar! If you don’t have almond milk on hand, no problem! You can sub any type of milk you prefer!
