Why are we asking you to self identify like we are gathering census data?
Often grantors require this information as part of our application and reporting process. The needs and reasons vary based on the grant or federal program, but the data is often used for research purposes. While we don’t identify or share individual answers, we do have to report based on generalities of our organizational make-up, professional staff and including our volunteer team.

Volunteer Agreement
I will work for the general welfare of Beyond Hunger and for no gain other than personal gratification and enrichment.
I will work in a positive manner and with a spirit of cooperation to ensure adherence to the mission, vision, values and ethics of Beyond Hunger.
I will hold any identifying information about Beyond Hunger's clients (names, addresses, etc.) in confidence and will not reveal this information to anyone outside of Beyond Hunger
I will, at all times, reflect favorably upon Beyond Hunger and will not make any public statement or take any action that impairs the reputation of Beyond Hunger as an institution.
Unless expressly authorized to do so by an appropriate staff member, I will not make any public announcement or official statement purporting to represent Beyond Hunger
All photographs taken of me may be used by Beyond Hunger for the purposes of illustration or publication in any legally authorized manner.
I understand that Beyond Hunger may ask that I cease providing volunteer services for the organization at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.
