Songs of Hope and Struggle

Join Music & Pot Lucks and the The Cliff Dwellers Club Wednesday August 19th at 7 pm for a special online presentation: Songs of Hope and Struggle featuring performances by soprano Kimberly E Jones and Mark Dvorak.

Mark Dvorak, “Chicago’s official troubadour” from the legendary Old Town School of Folk Music, will perform the timeless songs of Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie and others that speak of hope, freedom, peace and justice. CliffDweller member Eve Moran (CD10) will talk on the struggle for the women’s suffrage and its aftermath. A special performance by critically acclaimed soprano Kimberly E. Jones will inspire and lift up our human spirit.
