April Volunteer of the Month: Mia Pearson

Mia Pearson has been a volunteer since July of 2020. She has dedicated her time here to Saturday Food Distributions being our Greeter. She is incredibly patient and a wonderful listener for participants that come in to receive food. Mia always greets everyone with a “How are you doing today?” and a smile! She is able to control the flow of individuals at the Pedestrian Pantry and makes sure that anyone that needs extra assistance gets to the right person that can help. Many times, when time and space allows, she remains the entire distribution. We love how she brings calm, understanding and love to her time volunteering. Thank you Mia for being such a wonderful volunteer!
