February 2025: Volunteers of the Month

Marylen Marty-Gentile

A long-time core member of the Home Delivery team, Marylen Marty-Gentile is a beam of light during both our in-person and online volunteer shifts. She embodies our value of community connection with the colorful and heartfelt conversations she shares with our participants when taking their orders each month. Always asking questions to better understand our program we are grateful to have a volunteer who is so invested in supporting our homebound neighbors. We can't imagine Home Delivery without you, Marylen!

Kelly Clissold

Kelly Clissold is the Pantry's volunteer of the month. Kelly has been filling in for our Drive Thru lead when we've needed coverage. The Drive Thru Lead makes sure that the Valets constantly have everything they need to fill cars with food. Including the food box and all of the produce bags, that is a total of 6+ items to keep track of getting out of the window to ensure things run smoothly. Kelly has recently been stepping into this role when it is needed, and he has done so fantastically! It is great to have a well-seasoned volunteer step in when we have a need. Thanks, Kelly!
