July 2024: Volunteers of the Month

Sean Savramis

The Pantry team would like to nominate Sean as their volunteer of the month. Sean has been spending lots of hours at Beyond Hunger in the last month. He has helped out a lot in the pantry preparing, sorting, and moving food as well as tidying up afterwards. Sean regularly asks what other tasks can be done after completing the last one and has even stayed later than his shift's time more than once. Sean, we appreciate your eagerness to help and your great attitude. Thank you!

Pilar Balbontin

The Nutrition Education team would like to shout out Pilar as volunteer of the month. Pilar is a dedicated Nutrition Education and Pantry volunteer. Not only does she assist in the organization and execution of our cooking and nutrition education classes, but she also dedicates several hours each month to translating our nutritious recipes into Spanish. Pilar enjoys working directly with clients who attend our cooking classes and always greets our attendees with a warm smile and kind demeanor. Thank you!
