March 2024: Volunteers of the Month

Bob Personett

The Pantry team would like to shoutout Bob as Volunteer of the Month for March. Bob usually completes two rescues in one day, and he will even help out with other rescues that show up around the time he is here. He has gone to rescues that weren't covered when asked, and he always asks if we need him to do any other rescues. This month, he even helped bring in the Trader Joe's rescue and our produce delivery, on top of the car-load of donations he had in his car! We appreciate Bob's shared goal and enthusiasm to combat food insecurity with Beyond Hunger. We thank him for his hard work and dedication to our mission!

Laurie Stokes

The Home Delivery team chose Laurie as their Volunteer of the Month. We are incredibly impressed with how well she has managed every shift. We thank her for her enthusiasm and genuine commitment to assisting us in perishable bagging, shopping, and set up. It is a joy to see her pouring her heart out to get all the hard work done. We value her compassion to helping the our Home Delivery participants. Thank you, Laurie, for all your time and effort. We always look forward to seeing and talking with her!
