Rescue Shift: Rush Oak Park Hospital

Our Rescue Program is expanding. We’ve partnered with Rush Oak Park Hospital to rescue their surplus cafeteria food. (The Surplus Project)

Every Wednesday and Friday, volunteers go to Rush Oak Park Hospital to pick up the surplus food that has been repackaged by cafeteria staff into single serving containers. The Food Pantry rescues approximately 100 servings each week.

Tuesdays and Fridays @ 3:30pm
