Welcome New Staff!

We are pleased to welcome two new staff members, Marcus and Ricardo!

Marcus Foster, Events and Outreach Coordinator

Before accepting the position of Events and Outreach Coordinator, Marcus was employed as a video technician at Midwestern University.  Prior to that, he spent three years as Program Coordinator for the Office of Student Activities and Leadership at Columbia College Chicago, where he advised the Student Programing Board. 

Ricardo J. Garcia, Volunteer Coordinator

Originally hailing from Puerto Rico (Mayaguez to be specific), Ricardo is a former professional dancer with over 15 years of experience performing nationally and internationally. He holds a MS in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy and some of his credentials include Managing Director of Lucky Plush Productions, Chicago Administrator of Career Transition For Dancers/Midwest, Dance Instructor at the Chicago High School for the Arts and Manager of the American Rhythm Center. He also serves as an Adjunct Faculty at Northern Illinois University and is thrilled to join the Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry team as the Volunteer Coordinator.
